Privacy Policy: Google Business Profile connection

Effective October 27, 2026

1. Who we are

Ethical Digital LLC (“Ethical Digital,” “we”) operates the Google Business Profile connection used by Excellent (operated by Excellent AI LLC) and Jobsite (operated by Jobsite LLC), companies under common ownership. This policy covers the Google data that connection receives. Each product’s own privacy policy covers everything else it does: Excellent’s and Jobsite’s.

2. What we access

When a business connects its Google Business Profile, Google asks it to allow “Ethical Digital” to manage its business listings, the only permission Google offers for these features. The connection reads:

What it changes on a listing. Excellent changes nothing: it only reads. Jobsite (coming soon) changes a listing only with the business’s approval: a reply to a review or a post is sent to Google only after the business approves that one item, exactly as written, and if the business turns on hours sync, Jobsite keeps the listing’s hours matched to the hours set in Jobsite and notifies the business of each change. We do not receive the Google user’s password.

3. How we use it

Only to show the business its own listing data inside the product it connected, beside the matching location, and, in Jobsite, to carry out the changes the business approves. We do not use Google data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it except as needed to provide the product the business uses. Ethical Digital’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How long we keep it, and how it is protected

Following Google’s rules, content from a listing is kept for no more than 30 calendar days: it is refreshed or deleted automatically before then. We do not keep ratings or other figures computed from it. In Excellent, it is also never copied into the activity history. Google’s authorization is stored encrypted. What we keep while a business stays connected is only what operates the connection: the chosen account’s identifier and name, the business’s own match between Google locations and its locations in the product, and, in Jobsite, the replies and posts the business wrote or approved, which are its own content.

5. Who processes it

The data is stored and processed by the infrastructure providers each product already uses to run its service (for example, database hosting and application hosting), under agreements that limit their use of it. Each product’s privacy policy lists those providers.

6. Your choices

Disconnect Google in the product at any time. That revokes our access at Google and deletes the content the connection imported from the listing, along with the account details and location match. You can also remove “Ethical Digital” from your Google Account’s security settings (Third-party apps and services). To ask what we hold or to request deletion, email kevin.frei@gmail.com.

7. Changes

If we change how this connection handles Google data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
